The role of the Monarchy will be called into question. How can it be, if it will not even defend the Prime Minister it appoints and the Navy it created?
The Prime Minister will have to resign. Undefended by the King, who by constitution appointed him, his position will become untenable.
The old media will spend days pumping out slop about who said what, when, and weirdly, how the US President was right!
It has already been a strange couple of weeks, watching ‘British’ media promote and even encourage an American President to attack Britain.
Then you remember that most of the ‘British’ media are actually owned by Americans. From TV to the old newspapers’ ad riddled websites, American ownership and influence is central.
That’s why we’re in a situation where the events we imagined earlier are likely to become the reality.
It takes our own to willingly sacrifice our King to realise just how much american propaganda must have overtaken our once proud country.
That we would destroy a thousand year old institution central to our history and identity for absolutely nothing but a smiling photo-op really does show how low we have sunk.
